We don’t just believe that our youth are the church of tomorrow, we believe and want them to be the church of today! The church’s future lies in their hands and we want our teens to know and love Jesus. Our Youth Group program meets on Wednesday nights from 7-9pm for both junior and senior high.
We take ministry to children very seriously at Sherwood! A nursery is available during our worship service. Toddler Time (2-5 years) also runs the entire hour. Junior Worship children (grades K-4) stay with their families upstairs until just before the message, when they go downstairs for a special program geared to their age level.
Classes are offered from age 2 to 102 (or older if you have hit that high!) Our kids classes are geared towards helping you teach your kids the basics of the Bible and Christian living. But don’t just think it’s for kids! Adult classes are offered with topics ranging from Bible books to relevant topics such as parenting and marriage. Young adult classes are available too.
Fellowship and studying God’s Word is vital to growth as a Christian and we want to offer you the chance to have this Christian community and support outside of Sunday morning services. Our small group ministries wants to match you up with a group of Christians who are dealing with the same things you are and want to be there for each other to help one another grow in Christ.
